Profile Information

What INSPIRES you? Your work? Other areas?
Light; being light; lightness of being. Re-evaluating everything as I live, using holographic as well as linear consciousness. Nature inspires me. I try to make organic sculpture, architecture and environmental engineering illuminated by precise detail and science. Playing keyboard is becoming ever more important to me, though I'm still very inexperienced. I love to dance my feelings, generally design and fix things and get places quick by cycling. And do nothing and a lot of etcs....

I'm to be found on other sites as El-fin or El_fin, so this may help you find me if you've searched those names.

What do you hope to get by taking part in this site?
More awareness of what's going on locally (and wider) in dance, art and my other interests, and connection with others doing similar stuff.

Build friendships.

I've finally got around to posting some photos of the things I've made. I think S Devon is a good home for the kind of things I make. I rarely bother trying to sell my work, as most people just don't get it that this kind of stuff doesn't equate cost-wise to regular commercial, off-the-shelf. I would love to do it for communities who could pay - and to some extent, work - together on it, but that's more challenging than the technical problems for me.

Moving... on

Posted on September 17, 2012 at 21:28 0 Comments

Time for a change in the dance and music scene.  New connections,  letting go of ones that are not consitently matching my moving forward.  Music is talking to me directly more than ever, these days, in dance, mood and even intellectually too!  Sometimes the old left brain burbles on about what it wants to experience.  But it's all out there anyway. All it needs to do is shut up and pay attention, follow the smell, the shape and the sound of what fits.  We go there. See you soon.

Hi Trev, thank you so much for joining the MovingSound session at sky's barn on Tuesday, and your willingness 'to go there.' -- the sound and vibration of the session is still moving in me. .

you asked about a place to put comments and insights, well, I've set a group up so we can all keep in touch to shape the next one. MovingSound discussion space CLICK HERE  - there is also a place if you'd like to write any insights or inspirations from or as a result of the session.

love and gratitude  ~ x Christoffer

The picture is of the floating "marker `" off a little island of Japan mainland. The island is special to Buddists and Shinto ( both have shrines facing each other -centuries old )more than halfway up the mountain (cable car then foot to observation tower).View from top of mainland -islands around !.When i find a map( to show location) i will advise you !.

The "iconic floating bridge " was used by th Buddist monks to warn off raiders ,they were before the Samurai era part of the infamous "fighting monks " (think robber barons)!.

Look forward to sharing with you on site /when we meet !

Lifts ! I have a son and family in Swansea if that is near where you go !.

Thank you for contacting me ,i am always interested in people who like myself are "open " to new ideas and experiences ,i am still finding my feet in Totnes area but, learning fast !.
