a place to discuss this, or not....

Dear everyone,

CCD has been an interesting experiment.  I cherish seeing what people are passionate about.  There are some great events listed.

However, I have not had the time or energy in to raise the hosting cost needed  - I have done this now for several years, and will not be doing so.

  • If you are interested in CCD continuing, feel free to raise and collect the £239.90…

sharing events to Facebook

Posted on October 11, 2016 at 19:30 0 Comments

I know some of you share against Facebook. I was wanting to do this recently and found it wasn't working. Someone else's been in touch with me about this as well.

To give you an update, I've contacted the support  people, will update you when I know more.

If anybody knows anything about this, do feel free to share with us.

Warmth and Love

Tonight, I feel very grateful to all who have again contributed this year to this experiment that is CCD. thank you. ( and more in the PS below).

As I look at the profiles of people, I feel touched and have a sense of warmth and fullness as I read over and over what people have taken a heart moment to connect with and to write of what it is that inspires them  - thank you too, for that.

This sharing was one of the dreams I held, and still hold, dear in my heart for…

Thank you for your warm welcome Christoffer. I saw a friend post a link to CCD (although when I was Publicity Officer for the Torbay Singers I think I put them on it) - so I was aware already. Thank you for your interest in my writing - I always loved writing, but during a difficult period about 4 years ago I wrote a lot of (very bad!) poetry, but just recently I have written (and self-published on Kindle) a very short, humorous  story called "Sam - The Busker's Dog".  My husband often went busking with his accordion on the streets of Torbay with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and so I put pen to paper writing about their adventures, and the lovely nature of King Charles Spaniel :)  I thought as the book mentions a few Devon places it might be of local interest to people - some may have seen my husband with his accordion and our dog on the streets in Brixham, Paignton, Torquay or Dartmouth :)   What is the CCD writing blog?  Many thanks and kind regards,  Dawn

Thank you so much. I am hoping to move to Devon part time in the new year as part of my gradual exit from London. I have friends in Sidmouth but want to connect with people like minded and creative in places like Exeter, Totnes etc.

I dont drive so i will be dependent on bus and train networks.

Many thanks for the warm welcome, Christoffer. Much appreciated.  I am just working out how to reply. My main thing is writing - I've written many books (mainly edgy fiction) and have embraced the new technology so they are available as ebooks.

I will post a link to my website.  Not sure if I do it here or in another place?

Warm wishes

Kate :-)

Thank you Christoffer for your kind welcome.  I have known Sue for over 25 years.  We met at ante natal classes - my wife, Andrea, was attending with Sue, and we have been friends ever since.

Apologies about my web site - it is being rebuilt at the moment and yet to go live on isendyouthis - realised after I had pressed the "go" button to join CCD.  If you would like to get a flavour of my work try

I am currently in Majorca for two weeks holidaying/working.  On my return I will share something of my journey on CCD.

Looking forward to interacting.

Hello Christoffer,

That's a very nice message to receive, thank you... so my 'request' is already getting met!

I recognise your photo as a musician at the Soulo Theatre to be held in July... hope to see you there!

Yes mostly I am very grateful. Sometimes soul searching happens and deep pain is touched. But generally I end up being pretty grateful for this process too... opportunities to shed and grow :)

All the best to you xx
